DSA To Sponsor Iceland Challenge
It is a delight to share that DS Architecture will be one of the main sponsors for the Xtreme Walkies Charity Cycle Team's challenge to cycle around Iceland later this summer. All proceeds will go towards CHAS (Children Hospice Association Scotland) and Teenage Cancer Trust Scotland as well as some local East Lothian charities.
Xtreme Walkies is a brilliant local business run with enthusiasm and care, and every year they take on more ambitious fundraising events. It's a pleasure to be involved and to contribute towards what is sure to be a gruelling challenge.
Please check out the event's Facebook page for more details and updates and find out how you too can support some great causes.
Good luck to all involved, and stay tuned to all of DSA's social media paltforms for updates in the run up and throughout the duration of the challenge.
Crow Road Project Reaches Completion
The internal refurbishment, alteration and attic conversion project on Crow Road in Glasgow has reached completion, with the finished results being photographed by Ross Campbell.
The project saw the replacement of an existing narrow staircase to achieve a compliant access to a newly converted attic space, providing the property with a new master bedroom and en suite.
It's fantstic to see the completed project, the result of a great client relationship and an excellent level of work by Nest. More images can be found on the project page.
DS Architecture's New Home
It's with great delight and excitement to share the news that DS Architecture has a new studio in Portobello, Edinburgh. On the back of a very successful initial 18 months, the opportunity to move in to a fit for purpose space is a fantastic step forward for the practice.
The new studio is based at 23 Morton Street (full details on the Contact page), ideally situated for easy access to both Central Edinburgh and East Lothian.
I look forward to welcoming you all to the office in the future, and would encourage anyone to stop by to discuss any project plans they may have.
